Would you like to wind down your week with the gentle practice of Tai Chi? Join us at the Lewisville Branch Library on select Fridays of the month at 2 p.m. The upcoming class will be on Friday, Nov. 14.
Tai Chi is often described as meditation in motion. It originated in ancient China as a martial art but is now practiced for its health benefits, particularly for reducing stress and improving balance, strength, and flexibility.
Class size is limited to 15 persons. An exercise waiver is required for participation and can be signed onsite or downloaded and brought to the class. Waivers for attendees younger than 18 must have a parent/legal guardian's signature.
Registration opens two weeks prior to the class and is required. Register online or by calling 336-703-2940.
