Expand your reading goals with the FCPL Lewisville Branch 2025 Reading Contest
Calling all readers and book lovers! We would like to invite you to take part in our FCPL 2025 Reading Contest at the Lewisville Branch Library. In 2024, we had 102 participants, and we’re hoping for an even bigger turnout for our 2025 contest.
How it works:
The contest has two levels of reading prompts: Beginner and Aficionado. Beginners will be reading books that take place in Western North Carolina, focuses on the Rise of the Machines, children's horror stories, and more. Aficionados will be reading nonfictions that read like fiction, novelized movies, mysteries that take place on an island, and nine other categories.
You can choose to read one or both levels. Beginners’ entries are entered once, aficionados’ entries are entered twice, and participants who read both Beginner and Aficionado levels will be entered four times to win the prize: a $25 Bookmarks gift card.
View and print the reading log or pick one up the Lewisville Branch. Entries are due Saturday, Dec. 13, and we’ll pick a winner on Monday, Dec. 15.
